What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Contact forms
Our Contact Form collects information that you provide us for the sole purpose of allowing us to contact you. Our Newsletter signup form allows you to hear from us when we generate a newsletter (a maximum of 12 times a year.) Our 3rd party provider, MailChimp, is GDPR compliant. Forms may also collect the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. No one but CeJay Associates, LLC. We use our Analytics data to evaluate the popularity of our pages and user flow.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, fill out a form or make a purchase, submitted data and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up information automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Additional Information
How we protect your data
Our website data, including your information, is backed up on a 3rd party, cloud server called Amazon S3. Our website is on a secure server (SSL), is regularly checked for security and other updates necessary to keep it secure.
Your Newsletter submitted data is kept on the secure servers of MailChimp. Periodically, we download our contact list to keep on our inhouse, secure backup system. You can request this to be removed or sent to you at any time. Please contact design@cejay.com.

General
Cejayassoc.com strives to ensure that its services are accessible to people with disabilities. Cejayassoc.com has invested a significant amount of resources to help ensure that its website is made easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities, with the strong belief that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort and independence.
Methods
The website has been built keeping ADA compliance in mind. We have used a WordPress Theme (DIVI) and the compliance plugin developed for the DIVI theme. We have added the UserWay widget on all pages to assist with ADA compliance.
Testing
We periodically test the website using NVDA screenreader software. We also use Compliance Sheriff Cynthia Says portal and WAVE WebAIM.

Cejayassoc.com makes available the UserWay Website Accessibility Widget that is powered by a dedicated accessibility server (UserWay.org). The software allows Cejayassoc.com to improve its compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
